Hegre-Art was created in January
2002 as a showcase for the fine art nude and erotic
portraits of Norwegian photographer Petter
Hegre. With its daily Updates, Free Tour,
and thousands of teen girls and beautiful naked women
[ Luba ], Hegre-Art
has become one of the fastest growing most visited
websites in the world.
Erotic Photographer of the Year
Hegre
studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography in
California, and worked with Richard Avedon in New
York before returning to Norway to open his own studio.
Hegre's work in gallery exhibitions
internationally has been critically acclaimed and
controversial. As the pioneer of a more natural,
more intimate style, his five books charting what
he describes as The New Nude have become instant
classics and run to many editions.
In 2001 The Mammoth Book of Erotic Photography
placed Hegre
at the top of the list of the world's leading 78
photographers, a position he secured that same year
after winning the prestigious Erotic Photographer
of the Year award at the 8th annual Erotic Oscars
in London.
